Open Voice Network Q2 2023 All-Hands Meeting – Recording Now Available
This past June, the Open Voice Network hosted our second All-Hands Meeting of the year. During this 45-minute session, attendees heard from a number of Conversational AI thought leaders as we discussed topics such as our growing TrustMark Initiative, interoperability and Estonia’s Bürokratt, ways you can contribute towards our work in interoperability, and why this work is so important.
Our Executive Director also reported on the status of OVON’s mission and goals, as well as the changes your investment in our organization will bring to the future of voice and Conversational AI.
Thank you to everyone who attended this quarterly update! If you weren’t able to make it to the meeting, we encourage you to watch the recording above or on the Open Voice Network YouTube channel. Stay tuned for our next quarterly All-Hands Meeting in September!
About OVON
The Open Voice Network (OVON), an open source association of The Linux Foundation, seeks to make voice technology worthy of user trust—a task of critical importance as voice emerges as a primary, multi-device portal to the digital and IOT worlds, and as independent, specialist voice assistants take their place next to general purpose platforms. The Open Voice Network will achieve its vision through the communal development and adoption of industry standards and usage guidelines, industry education and advocacy initiatives, and the development and documentation of voice-centric value propositions. As a directed fund of The Linux Foundation, OVON enjoys access to the expertise and shared legal, operational, and marketing services of The Linux Foundation, a world leader in the creation of open source projects and ecosystems.
