Learn What's Needed for Agent-to-Agent Interoperability
Users are rapidly adopting conversational assistants, but no single agent can do everything that a user needs.
The Open Voice Network is creating standards that will enable independently developed conversational assistants to collaborate in addressing users’ goals in order to provide a more frictionless user experience.
This webinar will present the Open Voice Network’s progress toward developing these standards. It will review the overall framework of the standards, describe initial specifications, and demonstrate a standards-based collaboration between two independent agents with a simple use case. The goal of the webinar is to update the technical community and get feedback on our progress to date.
To help us reach these goals, the Open Voice Network is excited to welcome:
– Dr. Deborah Dahl – Principal, Conversational Technologies; Senior Advisor, Open Voice Network
– David Attwater – Senior Research Scientist, Talkmap; Senior Technical Advisor, Open Voice Network
– Emmett Coin – Founder, CTO, and Industrial Poet, ejTalk; Senior Technical Advisor, Open Voice Network
The webinar will take place on Wednesday, 22 March at 17:00 Central European Time / 12:00 Eastern Daylight Time / 09:00 Pacific Daylight Time.

About OVON
The Open Voice Network (OVON), an open source association of The Linux Foundation, seeks to make voice technology worthy of user trust—a task of critical importance as voice emerges as a primary, multi-device portal to the digital and IOT worlds, and as independent, specialist voice assistants take their place next to general purpose platforms. The Open Voice Network will achieve its vision through the communal development and adoption of industry standards and usage guidelines, industry education and advocacy initiatives, and the development and documentation of voice-centric value propositions. As a directed fund of The Linux Foundation, OVON enjoys access to the expertise and shared legal, operational, and marketing services of The Linux Foundation, a world leader in the creation of open source projects and ecosystems.
